Holiday Season Amidst all the stress involved w/ planning, decorating, cleaning, serving, gift-buying, gift-wrapping, etc, etc. I find that I am truly blessed with an overabundance of family and friends to worry about this holiday season. To all those I didn't get to see this holiday season, you were missed and I was thinking of you all fondly. If I could be everywhere with everyone, I would. :)

So Very, Very Wrong So, watching Chamber of Secrets the second time around, I came up with an incredible, seemingly un-thought-of, merchandising idea. You know the scene with Hermione in the clinic? Where she's magically petrified? They should sell a Hermione Real ... oops. work beckons. gtg!

More pics that is. playing catchup, as always: 120402 Ice-Skating at the Sculpture Garden --pics and movies of ice-skating of course, with The Ring-like photo effects, and disturbing pics of birth, what we learned in high-school, and being a giving lover. Be careful of the movies tho; i think a few are fine, but the others, i decided to take while i was skating. Might cause nausea. 120702 DVI Semi-formal --fun nite! very young crowd, but it was all good. good company was had with Barkada :) Check out the movies tho; hot hip-hop dance choreography. 120802 Uberfest --gaming room! 120802 Post-Uberfest Pho --just us being silly due to sleep deprivation. oh, and just for fun, I couldn't NOT post these random photos up. Here's a photo care of kuyaney, showing just how demanding mocahbugs is. And here are a couple from starlightgloom: First, the undying love between the Fraggle Rox sisters, and this one, well, does it even need a caption? or would it be TOO SUBTLE? give me suggestions!

Inspiration I find I look for it nowadays, trying to find it in everything I do. Things to motivate, make me feel something. I want to be reminded that I'm alive, that I can be moved by art, music, and people deeply. So I say screw you, gnicklaser! I like that movie quote and felt compelled to share it again, for the first time. Children at a school that we volunteered to perform one of the Filipino dances, the tinikling, for today inspired me. We explained to them what the dance represented, which was that the bamboo poles were like traps for the tikling bird that rice farmers put out for them and that the dancers were like the birds, avoiding the traps. After the dance, we had the most interesting bout of question and answer: Student1: "I liked the dance!" Student2: "Wouldn't the traps break the birds' legs?" Student3: "I really liked the dance...!" Student4: "Did the farmers just wait all day with the poles to catch the birds?" Student5: "I loved the dance!" and last but not least Student6: "What happened to the bird after it was trapped?" Kuyaney (to Filipina526): (whispering) "they let them go?" Filipina526: (nods) Kuyaney: (with renewed conviction) "They let them go!"

*Sigh* "I love that you get cold when it's 71 degrees outside. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwhich. I love that you get a little crinkle in your nose when you're looking at me like I'm nuts. I love that after spending a day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible." --Harry, in When Harry Met Sally Still one of the best quotes from a movie EVER.

NY As usual, NY was a lot of fun, cuz i get to hang out w/ Starlightgloom and fam, and get to roam the city. I spent abou 500$ on clothes from H&M. the first day. whew. I knew i wanted to see this store for like years, and i finally got to, and i didn't want to waste the opportunity. didn't want to waste. yeah, that makes sense :P on sat, we saw Into the Woods, which i've been wanting to see for years as well! Vanessa Williams played the witch, and did a very good job of it. Looks like we had just caught the end of her stint in this musical, so i'm glad i caught it. we did standing room, cuz we didn't want to pay 100$ each just for a seat together. It wasn't all that bad, actually. We saw pretty much everything that didn't have to do w/ someone being in a high-tower. meaning, we didn't really see Rapunzel until she got out, no biggie. Great cast. We hit virgin to grab the OST of the musical, cuz i loved it so much, and grabbed a shake before heading back. We saw the Best Pick-up Lines guy again, and with Starlightgloom in tow, i exclaimed to him happily that his lines worked! On sunday, we tried to get up early to go ice-skating at Rockefeller center, just cuz we thought it would sound cool to say we did, but we slept too long :P got on the last bus of the day and got a little sick, cuz i wanted to look at pics at the BEGINNING of the ride. Stupid move. I got better, and watched Rat Race, which wasn't all that bad. Not much to think about, just laugh. Got home late, but it was worth it :) NY pics here
