Proud I hold a lot of pride in the club that could, the AUAS. When I started the club waaaay back in the day(don't ask) w/ some friends, we never thought it would go so far. And now i'm looking at the membership, and it's refreshed itself many times over. New faces, new interests, hundreds of hours of anime....it all brings a tear to me eye ^_- anyways, what i was posting up was just to acknowledge the fact that I was particularly proud of our members who just kicked MAJOR ASS with their costumes at Otakon this year. Apapazukamori, kat, rackhamrose, magda; you guys rock! Very impressive cosplay and costumes :) I just felt bad i hadn't mentioned it earlier, but SOMEONE (togehara) didn't take pictures of you guys! :( mouuuuu....

Otakon 2002 Great time? of course. Good company? none better. Out of money? a given. Yaoi/Yuri goodness? everywhere. A lot of pics? ABSO-TUTELY. *most are thanks to Togehara, who took command of the camera most of the weekend :) tks, Togehara! Highlights: Julietz's costume! Doin' Ai justice, girl ^_- Friday evening group. DAMMIT! Doesn't anyone recognize a character from a classic anime anymore? ;_; Walkaer came all the way from Texas! Naughty girls. Illegal girls. *sigh* Icchan desu! Found a Hikaru angel! Heard talk about a Misakichi around, but didn't run into her; i really wanted to go serpentine :( Saturday Afternoon group in Dealer's Room. More Yaoi/Yuri ass-grabbin', caressing, kissing, mounting, grabbing and hickie-giving than you can shake a stick at. Mmm-mmm. Yes, yes. go w/ satan. Wolfwood never looked so good. What're you cosplaying as? I don't know, and I don't care. Poor, tired el Kapitan Dogotron and friends come join the hallway-blocking. Poor, tired, Walkaer. :) So many, cute Rikkus ^_^ The other, inferior Ai. ^_- Kawaii kalamela! Devious camera-man. Have yet to find ONE BAD Yuffie cosplayer :) Chloe-almathea as: ZZEEEE-PAAAPAAAA!!! And at least one Bishounen cosplayer for chiumeihwa to ogle ^_- and countless others... excellent weekend :)

Hooters Went to Hooters with some friends last night. Never been, didn't know exactly what to expect. I didn't know if I was to be shocked or neutral about scantily clad, altho beautiful women, serving us food in a "family-type" restaurant. When I say family, I mean, there was no age restriction to being let into the establishment. Case in point, I saw no less than 3 parties of teenage boys having dinner there. Guess I can't blame them. Having access to this type of eye-candy when you can't go anywhere else can be pretty enticing. Nonetheless, it was interesting being there. I really did like the wings, but I couldn't believe they were of the medium-spicy variety. I just didn't taste it. Good gumbo too, eh, Darksoul99? so, under the guise of a story that Shiei is leaving the country, we were able to procure a couple of group photo souvenirs for Shiei. Too bad the couple of Asian and Latina Hooters Girls didn't join in, to make it more "international". Here are the rest of the pics that nite. disclaimer: Experienced some camera malfunction. New g/f Got an upgrade on my g/f yesterday. Don't have the time nor inclination to cook up some innuendo as before, besides, Praxis did a fine job of that just recently anyway. Just lucky that i decided to drop on by Cozone yesterday, since i had time and it was on my way. They didn't have my upgrade the day before, and since me and my now ex weren't communicating, it was just fotuitous. I'd push her buttons, but she wouldn't say anything to me. I had to work her into a specific position where she felt comfortable enough to say anything at all. It was too precarious and nerve-wracking, so I told her it was over. Well, I guess i did have the inclination after all.

Mocahbugs' Birthday so, we celebrated mocahbugs' birthday on friday night with dinner at Guapos, and then had a "pool" party the next day at her place. I have the word pool in quotes cuz, well... we never did end up swimming at all....*smirk* oh well. It was damn fun tho. I swear, when everyone's cooking up a storm in the kitchen, i got some kind of high. Is it anticipation of the food? or is just the comraderie? Nah, it's the food ^_- Starlightgloom and thepinklamb got some zzzZZZ's. wonder what they've been doing to make them so tired. Darksoul99 and arman9111 played a little b-ball on the side and some movies, while the rest did karoake, in anticipation of the swimming that never happened, heh. Others still, got their tarot read by astralweng. Since it got too late to swim, we took a walk to the late night tennis courts a few minutes away and played tennis until they turned off the lights around 11pm. oh, and pinaypril and i got into an ootoot-power contest (Darksoul99, we NEED to make those t-shirts!). Not sure who won, but mocahbugs left the bathroom in a stink apparently. got back to mocahbugs' and just watched, in and out of sleep, the rest of Angelic Layer that arman9111 and everyone else got hooked on (man, i have to make like 5 copies of the whole series now :), lol. We didn't get done until 3am. whew. good stuff, good company :) tks for letting us crash, mocahbugs and pinaypril! you guys rock :) Here are the rest of the pics that day.

Black Cat So, saw anorakgirl's performance at the Black Cat last thursday night after the gang went out for some chinese food downtown. It was a good performance, and definitely a good venue, Backstage. Good Job Girl! Sounded real good up there, plus, you are too goddamn funny. Purity Well, I'm 50% pure, which breaks down to that of those that took the Purity Test, 74% are purer than me, so I guess that's an accomplishment! I wish I remember what i got when i took the test almost a decade ago the first time.... btw, i don't put my real name or email on that form, cuz i don't trust ANY website anymore to not put me on a list :P

Under the Sun so, i've started out my summer tan, so I don't look as nasty and pale. I mean, ima flip, aren't i? I need to get some sun on. Went to Ocean City this past weekend, last minute, so please don't feel left out if I didn't invite you; we wouldn't have left at all had we invited everyone we wanted to, plus it wouldn't have been good for the car to have you all piled in like that :/ so, what am i doing blogging about this on a tues thursday, and not monday? well, that's cuz i skipped out on work monday. Well, not exactly. I did do some work from home and made sure things didn't fall apart at work, but then again, i didn't call in neither. who was i supposed to call in to? my boss is away for a couple weeks. job's nice that way. anyways, been dragging my feet all week. quick overview of the weekend: On the way there sat, long drive, got bored and took pics. Here's me w/ my foot out the window at 70 mph, showing off how i can drive in a straight line at the same time. And wow, that's an interesting angle. Wait, is that my camera outside my window travelling at 70 mph?! damn you thepinklamb! Nice pic tho, and good choice of hat for starlightgloom. well, after we got to salisbury, we met up w/ greymaiden, and then her and quix led us to the beach which was only about 20 min. away. it took us 2 hrs. so much traffic at the inlet. *sigh* Well, we met up w/ the two again and i surprise took a pic of them as they were walking off the beach. awwww! shitty pic tho. sorry. Greymaiden had to go to work, so she left early to beat beach traffic. Didn't help. With 30 min. just to leave the parking lot, and then 45 min. waiting in line for a sobriety check, she got in way late anyway. I feel bad! :( We hung out at the boardwalk and the stores, and quix bought gloom a sweatshirt. how nice of him! except that it was only 5$. cheap-ass friend. and then we saw the most amazing thing. Ocean City cops started flying in from every direction, and then we saw why they were there. Scary! After that bit of excitement, the gang thought it would be nice to roll a tire on me. starlightgloom was about to show off some pool skillz, but didn't need to, she acquired a free prize from someone who played the pool game but didn't want the prize (here modeled w/ thepinklamb). Here I am almost hitting starlightgloom w/ the scooter (hurry up and take the picture, aaaugghh!) God we're so gay. Here are starlightgloom and thepinklamb grabbin' a little bit of hetero back (rated x!). Here's the rated G picture. Here we are hanging on the beach watching the waves. Ok, this picture needs a caption of some sort. I love anchors. And here's quix, up, up, and ....well, up there. Did I forget to mention that i LOVE anchors? And so, ended our first day(night) at Ocean City. We crashed at greymaiden's(Thanks so much! you were so hospitable :), who kept thinking her place was messy cuz she just moved, but it was a NICE place, puh-leeze! She was tres cool :) and I caught a nasty drool(or something) pic of thepinklamb. Must've been deep asleep. Don't worry, there's a better sleep pic of starlightgloom. LOL AWWW! ain't that cute. Greymaiden is so happy to have quix around! Even tho he was kidnapped, quix was more than happy to be there. :) So we got to the beach early afternoon and got nekkid. We got in the water and battled the waves, and generally hung out, snacked and drank. Praxis saw this picture earlier and said, "Dammit! This is what i missed? Thepinklamb without his shirt on?" Then we got told by a couple of undercover police officers that it was illegal to have an open alcoholic beverage on the beach. So we got cited, quix and i prolly have to pay upwards of 50$ of a fine :P We told them we looked for signs warning us of it, but couldn't find any. "They're everwhere," they claimed. To this date, we still have yet to see ONE sign. One of the cops told us to use the fact that we didn't see signs in our defense. Well, gee thanks. i think. Here's us all sour after the citations. We tried to enjoy the rest of our time by posing for pics and just relaxing. it was difficult for awhile, but then i was reminded of the good company i kept :) What's the difference between this and this? Ah, what a beautiful beach, late on a sunday. Then we went home.... The rest of the pics.

4th Late nite out before the 4th. Saw MIB2 and then went out to G-town Cafe for some late-nite munchies. Nite before that, went out w/ Community Alliance crew for Mike's b-day. Good little get-together celebration at my place for the 4th. Did our own street-fireworks display, and totally showed up the neighbors across the street. Nah, j/k, they had some good ones too ^_- Watched a couple of movies that aren't out yet, heehee! Beautiful copy of LotR, found by Astralweng and some of Spiderman. LOTS of seared meat, cooked by Iron Chef Quix! Thank you thank you thank you for doing the cooking. What with me sweating it out for about 4 hours in the car yesterday getting prepared for the bbq and driving people to and fro, I don't know if I would've survived cooking out in the moist-moist air. :P Thanks mom, for helping out so much! god, i hope you don't read this blog. and no, it didn't happen quite like that. Nor like that. It was more like *this: J: So, you like going "that route", do you? P: aw yeah. J: Is it cuz it's tighter that way? P: exactly. S: I can control it for T. He likes it when i do that.
