Whew so much to update on this damn blog. but, i'm in PA right now at the FIND dialogue, which has been great so far! Learned a lot, great workshops, good company, lots of alkie, karaoke, and ps2. what more could one ask for? :) hopped up on caffeine, running on 2 hrs of sleep, and no end in sight....ok, i dance now!

This Show Has the Gay just got home from anime, boy did it get out late. was too tired to watch tokyo babylon and x (some 20 min trailer or something, great animation). I feel so icky, i haven't been home since thurs, and now it's early sat. so tired. but had fun today! finally went bowling, bowled a 160 my first game, and then 170 for my second. wow, I couldn't believe it myself. I set my goal at 160, meaning i would've been more than satisfied w/ that, but i even exceeded that. I guess it must be in the genes, i mean, my parents were champion bowlers or something. well, they have big trophies anyway... nice place to bowl, that naval place thingie was. At anime, we had fun by popping in some karaoke vcds and singing, heh. If you can't get to karaoke, lisa, we'll bring the karaoke to you! I think me and fil scared a lot of members by being able to sing and dance n'sync's Bye, Bye Bye. oh well. Can't wait to bring my laptop and vcds w/ me to FIND next week. Karaoke part in the AU hotel room! w00t! oyasumi

PIU...again well, got up real late yesterday, and it doesn't help that i'm based way out in bum-fuck, but i finally get going in the middle of rush hour around 6p. we were all supposed to go bowling, but that didn't work out, cuz PIU was calling, so we headed on over straight to d&bs. A slightly different nite than usual; we ended up doing a lot of ticket collecting amidst PIU games. All of us together got over 3k in tickets! Nina and Fil found a crack game in tic-tac-toe. Very easy game to win tickets on, seriously. Imagine if you get at least 20 tickets each game, in 9 out of 10 games, eh? pretty good, huh? Odds are definitely ag. the house. :) well, not sure what we're gonna get other than some shot glasses, so we saved the tickets for a later time. Ryan from the waldorf PIU crew was pretty damn amazing. He was right up there w/ alex. Actually, from what i hear, out of the 10 best players from waldorf, he's supposed to be #5. wow. Good moves, and apparently had been playing for awhile. I heard he played some song on double, w/ no steps, ie no arrows. He got an A. That is just....sick. I am NEVER going to this gas station. Just got a chance to see the video from Teck's surprise b-day party.... uh, that wasn't me -_-;; well, gonna try and hit bowling today, and that's why i stayed over at the Essex Hotel, so i wouldn't have to go come all the way up from bum-fuck, VA.

Easy Come, Easy Go Went karaoke last night. good-sized group this time! We had george and ki from g-dub, teck, nina, marinel, april, jason and fil. Lots of talent at our table that night! As usual, fil did a lounge song, nina did her titanic, teck did a really good, low-voiced song, ki did everybody must get stoned by dylan (which i believe is a classic karaoke bar song), george did some old classic song that i hadn't heard in awhile, marinel did angel by sarah maclachlan, jason did one of his usuals and did a better job on it this time!, teck and nina did a duet of from this moment by fiiiinia twain, I did Just once by james ingram, and then the whole peanut gallery did summer nights from grease, and tons of karaokers came up to join us, including this one woman who was a one person cheering group for all the singers, esp. for jason's singing; she was a gyratin' fool :) There was some stiff competition up there that night for male and female, and altho we had plenty of talent, we didn't win :( but! i got random! go random! and then i paid for all the drinks and food that night, and it was like i never had the money to begin w/ :) is all good. not there for the money anyhow :) so the competition ends and richard says he'll keep the karaoking going for another half hour, and we rush to get in some extra songs. george did another good oldie, me and marinel get in a duet of cruisin' that we've been wanting to do since last time :), jason gets in another one, and then all of us do queen's we will rock you. HA! it was great. an empty bar and us making so much noise. it was great. :) well, april had to work the next day and marinel had to get up waaay early to catch her flight to cancun, so jealous!, and so we leave champps for next week, w/ a promise from april to sing next time, oh, and we'll hold her to it ^_- the rest of us decide to meet at georgetown cafe to get some grub. we almost forgot to meet the g-dubbers cuz me and nina were too busy putzin' around w/ our new toys, the Treo and the Clie, oops! so i punch the gunbuster and make it there within a few seconds of them gettin' there, whew. things of note: The Clie now has remote control capability, heheheh well, anyway, not sure why i wanted to just jot this whole night down, but maybe i felt i hadn't put anything of substance lately. not that this was any better, but... hey, i'm tired man! give me a break.

Abort Canadia Mission! Abort, abort! Well, the road trip to Montreal didn't work out. Oh well. I'm not really all that dissappointed, altho i feel kinda bad for Adnan, who has been trying to get us to come up for awhile now (read: since last summer), but it's just not gonna work out this time. I mean, it would've been only me and carms, and you know how i am w/ cute girls. Just kidding Adnan! Just kidding Teck! LOL anyway, i didn't wanna be a third wheel when we got up there, but thanks for saying i wouldn't be carms :) I think it would've been a different story had Raulie and others been able to come with us; which is why we were all thinking of going up to NY instead, since many of us can go up there no problem and originally we would've gotten to stay at Nina's for free (sans groceries), but then that didn't work out neither. *sigh* it's ok Nina, really! I know only too well where you're coming from... -_-;; so, instead, we are gonna party-hardy down here in DC, but! if anyone can think of a place to road trip to for a day or two, I'd be more than willing to entertain the idea, hehe. I got 2 days off from work and the weekend, and as far as I'm concerned, they think i'm out of town. i am NOT gonna waste 'em. ^_-

New Tech Acclimation ah, when there's new tech, everyone's a noob. It happens, and I expect it. But, when i get conflicting, non-working solutions from voicestream...ugh. it gets tiresome. I think I figured out for the most part what was going on w/ my SMS msgs on my Treo. But, had to look for the solution myself. I got 2-3 different possible solutions over the phone from their tech support as to why it wasn't sending to email addresses, but I ended up finding the solution on-line. sheesh. anyway, it works for the most part, except that it now forwards as part of anything i send to an email address, my password for some account. *sigh* i'll figure it out soon enuf, but damn. i really wish i had found my Treo's stylus; it looks really dorky right now w/ the long replacement stylus making it look like 2 antennas sticking up out of it. On an unrelated note, Bridget's cabbage stew r0xx0rs! mmm... yum-yums. mmm. free PIU...

Another Crazy Weekend....ie No Rest for the Wicked Ok, updates are lacking. sorry. just that, there isn't any time! any time for me to just relax and be lazy. That's what i did this past sunday: just slept until 3 in the afternoon, ate, then watched Angelic Layer, listened to some music, putzed around on my Treo, saw my sister for a few minutes before she left again for school(she just came back from her European vacation), copied her a John Hartford CD (and created some keen lookin' cd labels for it too! ^^), ate again, then fell asleep with the light on. *shrug* oh well, so much for getting anything constructive done. This weekend was busy, no wonder i was so tired. Weds, karaoke until late, Thurs, pump it up, then dinner w/ some g-dub peeps at Thaiphoon(nice restaurant, btw), Fri, dropped off some friends at BWI and then anime and diner as usual, Sat, woke up damn early to drop off more friends at BWI, then slept for 6 hrs, attempted bowling, ended up just going to pump it up again(for like 8 freakin' hours), and then diner again :P ah, good to be young and single :) no, really. ah, repeat ad nauseum.

I Love My Sister ...but what i don't get is how she gets more of the pie than me and my brother. Don't believe me when I say that our parents love our sister more than us? Then take these on for size: -She gets into an accident where she flips the car and gets another car; My bro flips a car, and he gets NO car. -Sis lives on-campus and gets the use of a car; I lived near campus, i got NO car. -Sis fails to get into a UK graduate program; she gets a spring break European vacation not that i'm counting or jealous or anything. One More Month 'Til Payday I know i don't pay rent or food or nothing, but this is getting ridiculous. I really need to stop spending so much! I'm waiting for my Treo to come in the mail soon, and I just went out w/ fil to get another bag that i needed, which was bigger than my current murse. bought some cd labels at compusa(they were on sale, 50 w/ stomper for 10$ w/ rebates), some vhs labels, some led lights to replace the ONE i lost(these ain't cheap) and flare light, and on top of it all, i just bought my Echelon Parksaber (this REALLY ain't cheap) so that it will be ready by Eps. II and mine and fil's choreographed jedi battles. Good thing i'm rich, eh. oh, i'm not? shit.

Another Crazy Weekend ...and i didn't even leave town! Anyhow, saw the Debut again this past thursday to see it w/ some g-dub peeps, since i wanted to see it again anyway, and also missed the first 10 min. last time -_-;; Had to forego having any real time at the PIU machine at D&Bs, but it was all good and worth it. Got to bond a little more w/ the g-dubbers Marisa and Jaeda, so that was cool. Friday, starts out as usual w/ anime, but had to cut out early for Teck's surprise party at Lauren's. Actually didn't get to watch much, since I needed to get Nina and friends out to Tenley to get drinks and cake, etc ready for the party, and plus to get the directions to everyone, which we hadn't yet received! yikes. Well, it went well, and got to watch like a couple eps when we got back to anime, altho we left Teck there wondering where the hell we went. He still didn't suspect anything, so here i am giving directions to tons of people in his midst and just trying to time it right. We took our time due to text msgs informing me and fil to take our time getting to the party; they weren't ready yet. Had to get more stuff at the Key Bridge Exxon, and ran into Steve there again; he was on his way to the party, but we kept to the story that I was meeting him on Saturday. Nina took some pics of the exorcist stairs she didn't realize was right there, and me, fil and teck posed like we had just fallen down from them. So anyway, Steve says he's on the way to a party in Crystal City, so he goes off down key bridge, w/ us in his wake. then, we see there's an accident ahead. it was steve :( so, he couldn't make it to the party. But, a lot of teck's friends did. It was a small gathering; it was intentional. When we got there, Teck was really surprised. he expected something somewhere down the line, but didn't expect it to be at Lauren's. Actually, the story was that I was trying to hook up w/ Lauren, and so we were all just gonna hang out and stuff. So, i wasted no time and drank the rest of Janice's smirnoff, and then chugged a rum and coke that was about 40% rum, and in a tall, big glass, filled to the brim. Oh, i felt it after that. i tried to make sure i ate some of the pizza that came so i wouldn't just be filling my stomach up w/ just alcohol. Chugging an MGD wasn't too difficult after that. i remember vaguely doin' some sparring w/ my drunken style, or something. I remember sliding around on the floor for a little bit, then ended up w/ my head under a table. Fun night! Well, woke up at the Essex, since i was in no shape to drive home(thanks for driving fil), and had to go straight to Barkada Dance practice, well, after eating breakfast, that's why i was late. Good practice, and good hussle for everyone involved! Neal and Monica are doing a great job organizing the whole thing, and the dancers are soaking up the moves! Good job on the cd, Myra, and Neal, thanks for getting the bamboo sticks! well, the practice went on long, and then people met up at D&Bs after to, what else, play PIU. Dropped by for a bit, but i had dinner and etc plans that night w/ Nisa. no, no. not a date, just hanging w/ a friend. Ended up watching a couple of eps of Angelic Layer on my laptop, but I couldn't follow it that night for some reason and had to watch it again today, oh well :) Nisa cursed me for getting her hooked, heheh. so, here i am, sunday night recovering and resting and getting prepared for another week at work :P when are we getting those tats and piercings, lisa? :) ps sorry for the disheveled, rushed feel of this entry. It's been a long weekend, and well, i gotta get some sleep!
